Czech Miss 2005 finalist Katka Sedláková amazed the Adriatic. Her beauty outshone other nine foreign young participating in the Miss Adriatic beauty pageant and won the Miss International title.
There were 17 girls competing in the Adriatic beauty pageant; seven Croatians and ten girls from abroad.
"I did not have a very good feeling before the contest as it seemed that all the judges favored a contestant from Armenia. But it all ended up totally differently and I am just so happy I succeeded," surprised Katka said after the results were announced.

On Hvar island the contestants one whole week in preparations for the Miss Adriatic pageant and were constantly in the centre of attention of media and tourists. Attractive Katka quickly became a favorite of quite a numerous group of Czech tourists on Hvar and her fans supported her with loud cheering even during the finals. All the time the girls were also under a close observation of the international panel of judges.

Katka knew that one member of the jury, Slovak super model Andrea Verešová, kept fingers crossed for her. As well as Katka and other Czech Miss finalists, Andrea is represented by Central European Models agency.
